Pfizer wanted an interactive learning experience for their Field Medical Directors (FMD’s) to use with Doctors. Their research showed that interactive experiences lead to greater engagement, retention and follow up regarding new products.

Their new drug Ritlecitnib (LITFULO) would be the first offering in what would be dubbed “The Pfizerverse”.

Knowing the regulatory and legal hurdles that would need to be overcome we went through a discovery phase that culminated with a 44 page proof of concept and SOW that included a sizzle video, concept art, story tree and the overarching concept of a educational VR “guided tour” followed by a game to show how the drug could inhibit JAK3 protein to reduce inflammation in alopecia sufferers; thereby stimulating new hair growth.

The production included 9 Phases: 1. Concept Art/Asset Development, 2. HUD Development, 3. Animation, 4. Asset Optimization, 5. Blueprinting game mechanics, story and sound design, 6. Development in UE/C++, 7. Training/User Testing, 8. QC/QA and 9. Deployment. The end result was an “Edutainment” section followed by the Game.
